Where Can I Find A List Of Force Feedback Games?
We do not maintain such a list at Logitech®. It is not as easy as it seems. There are too many different variables involved for Logitech® to track them all.
For example some games ship without force feedback initially, but add a patch later. Some games do claim force feedback support, but the feature does not work as well as some users would expect so it is not a considered useful feature in the game. Some games have had problems in the force feedback implementation so that force feedback does not work correctly on all operating systems. The method to enable and configure the force feedback in the game may not be obvious, and requires some user tweaking. Force feedback may not work well on specific systems unless the correct USB chipset drivers are installed .... etc .....
A fairly general rule is that racing and flight games have forces, but fps / strategy / role playing do not.
The best place to check for details of force feedback support in a game is with the game developer, or in the games online forums.
If you post a message on the wingmanteam bboard about a specific game, asking if it has force feedback or not, then you might get a reply if we are familiar with the game.
