For NT2004, you need to start the game with the wheel. If you use the gamepad to start a race, the game will use the gamepad for the race. You need to use the wheel for menu navigation in order to use it in the race. That's why the controller screen went back to 'controller' instead of 'wheel'. For your reference, the Red MOMO maps like this to the menus:
Green/Blue = Up/Down
Brake = Go back
Gas = Select
As for Indy Racing Series, according the the Logitech website (http://www.logitech.com/promotions/promo.cfm?countryid=19&languageid=1&contentid=7873) that game does not support wheels.

Does anyone use this wheel with these games? I tried on both games & could not get them to work. For NT2004, I left the controller plugged in & plugged the USB into the top port. Plugged the wheel in before turning on the ps2. Went into controller & selected "Wheel". Went into the game & let the auto drive take me out of the pits. As soon as the wheel let me have control of the car, the car went straight for the wall. I went back into the controller screen & it was on the controller & not the wheel. Anyone have any suggestions?
