Use the "persistent profile" feature (Options->Global Profiler Settings..., I think). If you don't, then the Profiler sees constant "program changes" and resets the driver, which then drops the mouse autocalibration values (yeah, that should be fixed sometime, I know ;)
If you want to shut down the computer, I would recommend recording a sequence of keystrokes which makes your computer shut down:
For Windows 2000:
[pause][pause][pause][pause] or something like that.
With this sequence it may pick "standby" instead of "shutdown" - alternatively, you could have a number of and then a single to reach the "Shutdown" entry.
Adapt as necessary (if you're running Greek Windows, the sequence will be different).

How can I access the desktop with the cordless wingman? I tried setting the explorer.exe as an executable file and used the mouse emulation of the pad but everytime I open a folder I have to recalibrate the pad ..
And also How could I turn off the computer from the cordless wingman rumblepad just pressing one two buttons?
