I am trying to make pedals, which are part of Logitech Wingman Formula GP steering wheel, to work as rudder pedals together with my Logitech Force 3D joystick.
I have two USB ports to which I connected the wheel with pedals and the joystick. When I open Il-2 (a flight sim game), it recognizes the wheel but not joystick. If I exist the program, unplug the wheel and open the program again, it does recognize the joystick. For your information, I have Windows XP and WingMan Sofware 4.20. As I understand, Il-2 itself has the ability to read from multiple controllers. Please help.

Thank you.
It is very a pity.
This joystick I shall throw out in a window and purchase of other firm.
And it is more at this firm when I shall not buy.

See below from the FAQ http://www.wingmanteam.com/faq.htm
------------------------------
Support For External Analog Rudder Controllers
Support for external analog rudder controllers is limited to the following configurations :-
OS Type :-
Windows® 98
Windows® 98se
Windows® Me
Devices :-
WingMan® Force™
WingMan® Interceptor™
WingMan® Extreme™ Digital
WingMan® Extreme™ Digital 3D (gameport connection only)
When running under Windows® 98 or Windows® Me these devices have a checkbox in the control panel that allows use of external analog rudder controls. When this checkbox is selected the driver will read data from the external rudder control and report this rudder position data to the game.
This function is not supported under Windows® 2000/XP. This function is not supported for the newer WingMan® USB joysticks that have a built in "twist"/"rudder" functionality. These devices include WingMan® Extreme™ Digital 3D (when connected to USB port), WingMan® Force™ 3D, and WingMan® Strike Force™ 3D.
Support For External USB Rudder Controllers
There is no support in WingMan® software for use of external USB rudder controllers. However, it is possible to use a WingMan® joystick in conjunction with external USB rudder controllers if the game supports multiple input controllers. Many of the newer flight games (e.g. FS2000) have the ability to read from multiple controllers, and it is expected that most games in the future will support this capability.
