i look inside the pedals carefully from different angles using a big torch and good lighting in the room but i see no metal shine. I cant see the white plastic neither.(the one from the plastic pots). what do i have rev a or rev b? if i have rev a i must see the white pots or not?

I had to get my pedals replaced because they went faulty.

My wheel, and the booklet that came with it, said Rev B.

HOWEVER, I took a look inside my pedals and they have the small plasticy white pots which I believe are REV A??????/

So don't trust the markings. Maybe the wheel itself is a newer revsion, but it seems Logitech are just sending out old pedals regardless.

White sticky stuff in the pedals? Unless this is a returned wheel that someone did something nasty with, it's lubricant (I mean, lithium grease :)

I just bought the DFP this afternoon. The documentation plastic bag is sealed by a sticker that says Rev.B00 (underneath the P/N number). So I suppose it's revision B :)

Overall, it seems to be a pretty nice wheel, but there are some noticeable scratches on the aluminum part of the faceplate (around the GT insignia in the center).

I also noticed some white sticky stuff in the pedals. Is that just lubricant?

My Momo Racing wheel has developed the dreaded brake problem so I want to up grade to the DFP as I have been using it on PS2. Could someone please explain, has Logitech upgraded the pedals on the DFP?, is this the version B?, can I tell if i'm buying a version B wheel without opening the box?, I take it version A didn't have metal pots?, Can someone WHO KNOWS explain all this, 'confused'

i purchased the momo racing and the sticker you desribe had a p/n written above the s/n
this part number ended with 0001, this may be rev B

i returned the momo and got the newer dfp, the sticker on the pedals has a p/n ending with 0000....bummer :)

i thought the dfp came out after the momo racing.

if you look carefully into the pedals you can actually SEE the shine of the metal pots used in version B. if you can't see the shine, either you have too look harder under better light or from a different angel or you have version A.
