There are actually 2 games I am trying to get working. The first is Hot Wheels World Race. Someone posted a profile for that game on these messageboards that I am using. It works great except for the steering issue. The other game is Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge.

I am not surprised. The mapping of a keystroke to an axis is usllay used on joysticks in some older games to control character movement. You don't want to move your character until you have moved well outside the center range of the joystick. So applying this to a wheel you get what you see.

What game are you playing? Just curious.

I recently purchased a Logitech Diving force Wheel for my PC. The problem I am having is whenever I map keys using the logitech profiler to steer it creates a large dead zone (almost a 1/4 turn each direction). If I dont map the steering to the keyboard there is no dead zone but unfortunately I need to emulate keyboard commands to access all game controls.
