I just purchased the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 and cannot install the Profiler software. When I launch the installer it other runs for only a few seconds and then disappears or it'll run through to completion and then when I select the "Finish" button to begin the 'Logitech Device Setup Wizard' it then reboots my PC!

After trying the install multiple times it somehow correupted my profile such that upon logging on my PC would then instantly reboot. I ended up havning to restore my PC from a previous Ghost image!

Upon further inspection I've noticed that if I go ahead and connect the receiver prior to installing the software the game devices manager will recognize the gamepad and I can user another installed gamepad configuration tool (ControlMK) to config the gamepad but I'd like to use the Profiler application.

I tried uninstalling all my other game device software as well as downloaded and ran Logitech's tool that removes all registry entries of gaming devices. Still didn't resolve my issue.

So at this time the device is being recognized by windows as well as in games. I just can't use the profile app to customize game profiles like I would like. At present I'll have to continue using ControlMK. Can anyone help???
