In general you will be better of using a mouse, rather than a gamepad for fps games. But some things you could consider:
1) make the profile "persistent", then you can ALT+TAB between the game and the Profiler, and it is easier/quicker to experiment with different Profiler settings. I found it best to have a large deadzone (about 35-40%)
2) since Profiler is emulating mouse, then your mouse system parameters will also have an impact i.e. you might need to experiment with those too in the windows control panel. Personally, I used a lower "speed" value there, and found better results.

Can someone please give me the optimal sensitivity, dead zone, and range settings for First person shooters when the mouse x and y axis are mapped to a analog stick. Mouse movement is very choppy on screen. any additional tips on smooth mouse movement on screen would be helpful.
