hi guys!

why to take everything appart??!

it is much easier way to claen it, and it'll be like new! shiny and fresh:D

thats how i do:

i keep it upside down, over the sink and brush it with a spunge, paintbrush and cleaning detergent.
It cannot be detergent which contains micro sand, because it will scratch plastic! especially the dark colors will be affected!

after solid brushing, i sprinkle everything with water (but still keeping it upsidedown)
lots of dirt usually comes out.

I hit a few times the keys with my hand, and applay the water again, until there is no dirt.
than i clean the rest of the keybord, the bottom and the sides.

On the end i wipe the water with paper towels, and put the keyboard in direct sunlight, i.e. outdoor to dry out.
It has to stay like that for a couple of hours or a day, if the wather is not hot, you can always use a hair dryer.

This is very important to dry it completelly inside. I already killed to keyboard because i dried them to short, i didnt see any water inside though.

I know the post il very old. but I will give information so other user with the same question have an answer. I personaly use a cordeless desktop pro from logitech since 1999 and if all there keybord is done the same way, all you have to do is remove the screw under the keybord remove the cover. the key is assembled in large section, so you have only 2 or 3 part to remove. place it in warm water (not to warm) and ad soap if you prefer. you can do the same for the casing, I do that for my keybord and it work whell and look, pretty new. (sory but english is maybe not to good)

Hi!

I own an Internet Navigator keyboard and am quite happy with it. Though I do my best to keep it clean, after two years of use, it has already accumulated a lot of crud underneath the keys.

My question is --- Is it safe to remove the keys so I can remove the crud underneath. (And maybe give the keys a proper soap and water cleaning)?

I used to do that to my cheap generic keyboard. I'd pop out each key and soak them in mild soap and water. I was wondering if such is also okay with the Internet navigator.

Thanks!
